Tattoos are something that I have always wanted to have. I feel like they represent things that we can’t say in words. They represent special people and events in our life. For some people a tattoo is something to show off their creativity. For me I want a tattoo, because I want them to represent my traits and special moments in my life. My family hates tattoos, so it surprises me how I like tattoos.
To answer the question in the title, No I don’t have a tattoo but I really didn’t want to end there for several reasons. One being that this blog would be too short if I left it at that, and two because I want to share some definite tattoos that I want to get.
The first tattoo I want to get is stars on one of my fingers. I’m probably going to choose my ring or middle finger on my left hand. The reason I want stars is because, they represent that no matter what one should strive to shine. One should also know that without darkness, we couldn’t see stars. I see it as no matter how dark of a situation I am in there is always stars to shine some light.
The second tattoo I want is a pearl ankle bracelet with a cross. I would want to cross to be the orthodox one since I’m an orthodox Christian. I just really want something that represents my religion and ankle bracelets are cool.
The third tattoo I want is a wrist tattoo. I would like to have two butterflies flying and have sparkles around them. The reason I want butterflies on my wrist is that, I have always liked butterflies. Actually, my first blog was butterfly themed. Now I think that’s actually very cringy. I had butterfly quotes, butterfly pictures, and even called my readers butterflies. Oh, dear god! Let me stop thinking about that. Cringe O Meter at 100.
On my other wrist, I’m thinking of getting a heart, but right now I want a simple heart design but I can really see that changing. I’m never going to get the 3D heart tattoos, because those freak me out!
The next tattoo I want is a cursive M with a crown on top of it, because M is the first letter of my name. It is also my favorite letter, and the crown because crowns are beautiful.
The last tattoo I want will probably be the most significant one for me. I want the word “believe” with the “e” being the MS orange ribbon. I also want under that word a quote (haven’t decided on a quote yet) and the date I was diagnosed under the quote. The way it’s arranged might change, but I really want those 3 components in the tattoo.
As you can see I want a couple of tattoos and not all of them have deep meanings. Some of those things are just things I enjoy, and some represent some big things in my life. I think the most important thing when getting a tattoo is to go somewhere that is clean and safe and make sure you actually like the tattoo before getting it. A lot of people try to scare you with the whole “you would look ugly with it when you are older” but I just think you should do what you believe.Follow me on:
